About ISR Oahu

ISR is the global leader in the industry it was pioneered in 1966: survival swimming lessons for infants and young children. Our team of highly-trained Ceritfied ISR Instructors provide the safest and most effective survival swimming lessons available. The ISR lessons our students receive today is a product of nearly 60 years of research and experience to achieve unparalleled results each day in pools around the world. Today, our mission, “Not One More Child Drowns,” is the foundation of everything we do!
Our Aquatic Programs

ISR Survival Swim Lessons
Our ISR Survival Swim Lesson program is for new students and it introduces infants and children to life-saving survival aquatic skills. Your child will learn age appropriate skills such as Rollback to Float and/or the Swim Float Swim Sequence.
ISR Maintenance Lessons & Transition to Stroke
Our ISR Mainenance Lessons not only maintain your child's survival skills, but also strengthens their survival skills. Once your child is water safe, then we can move onto more advanced skills such as Transition to Stroke and Swim Team Preparation. We always make sure your child's safety and survival skills are our number one priority!

Parent & Me: Water Acclimation Class
Parent & Me Classes involve bringing a parent in the water with their child. Our Certified Instructors will guide parents on how to get their child more comfortable in the water, getting their faces and ears wet, learning a correct floating posture while also implementing water safety both in and out of the water. This is a great option for infants that are too young for ISR Lessons (under 6 months) or those who cannot yet commit to the 4-5 days a week of ISR. We like to call this class the precursor to ISR.
